Hi, My Name is Mel
I AM THE OWNER OF BOHEMIAN GLOW
I completed my Diploma of Beauty therapy in 2009 and have worked and managed salons in Victoria before heading to the Northern Territory for travel.
I worked along the way at Ella bache in Darwin before settling in Katherine and going out on my own. This is where Bohemian Glow was born.
I have been working for myself for 5 years now. Moving back to my home state of Victoria in 2021 and eventually finding a cosy place to call home in Winchelsea, in 2022. Where I have been able to blossom my business to where it is today.
My favourite part of being a beauty therapist is helping clients feel wonderful in themselves and seeing the joy in their faces after I have treated them.
Whether it be an eyebrow wax and tint, body waxing, or a spray tan (because we all know life's better with a tan) or a facial to enhance their skin to its full potential!! It doesn't matter, I love it all!
I have recently completed my Expert status in Dermalogica to be able to take my facials to a whole new level!

Another great fact is that by 2025, 100% of their tubes, bottles, and boxes will be designed to be reused, recycled, and/or composted!!
When I am not in salon, you'll find me running around with my 2 beautiful babes. They are what keeps my motivation flowing to keep pushing and reaching goals. I also enjoy staying active running, walking or getting to the gym, and I am absolutely a summertime person!! You'll see me embracing every moment of warmth I can in those warmer months!! Come winter, I am a true hibernator, and you'll find me in the treatment room embracing all those cosy feels of candles, warm blankets and winter facials or cosied up on the couch with the fam watching a movie with freshly cooked popcorn.
That’s a little peak into myself and my world.
